Your zone coordinator will provide you with gloves and trash bags. Volunteers will also receive an official Tennessee River Recue T-Shirt (on a first-come, first-serve basis) and free drinks courtesy of Chattanooga Coca-Cola Bottling Company.

Because we will be cleaning along the shores of the river, chances are pretty good that you will get a little wet and dirty. Therefore, we recommend that volunteers wear old clothes and tennis shoes that they do not mind getting dirty. You may also want to consider bringing a towel and/or baby wipes to clean-up afterwards.

As the "level of difficulty" varies from zone to zone, you should talk to your zone coordinator prior to the River Rescue to see if you should bring any special items.
